The 2025 “Voọc ơi, mình đi đâu thế?” nature conservation education program has officially returned to the Son Tra Peninsula. With changes in the target participants, the program promises to enhance the experience for students as they explore biodiversity in Da Nang.

The theme of this year’s program remains the exploration of the flora and fauna of the Son Tra Peninsula, with a particular focus on learning about the endangered red-shanked douc langur population in the wild here.

In 2025, the target participants for the program have changed. Instead of being for students aged 10 to 14, this year’s “Voọc ơi, mình đi đâu thế?” program will be organized for students aged 12 to 18. Notably, the students will participate without their parents to encourage independence and teamwork.

The goal of the program is to directly serve the educational needs of the students in natural science, local education, and experiential learning.

The “Voọc ơi, mình đi đâu thế?” 2025 program will be divided into groups, with assignments for research and the identification of various animal and plant species during the experiential session, all under the guidance of conservation experts.

The students take notes on what they’ve learned in their notebooks.

The program will be held regularly once a month, on weekends. The Organizing Committee will provide specific details about each session 10 days in advance. The number of participating students will range from 10 to 15.

The students gather at the meeting point before beginning their field trip experience.

Parents and students interested in joining must follow the instructions provided by the Organizing Committee, including becoming a member of the Facebook group “VOOC ƠI, MÌNH ĐI ĐÂU THẾ?” (mandatory) and registering through an online link provided by the organizers. Applications that meet the criteria and regulations will be selected and notified via email. For other applications, the Organizing Committee will also send an email with an invitation to participate in a future session of the program.

Before each trip, students and parents will gather at Webe Café, 14 Nguyen Huu Thong Street, Son Tra District, to receive program guidelines and assignments. This location will also serve as the final stop for each session.
