Son Tra Peninsula: You will encounter some common bird species in the lowlands of Central Vietnam such as the Indian Roller, Rufous Treepie, Black Drongo, Grey-headed Canary-flycatcher, Crimson Sunbird, Brown-throated Sunbird,… you will also see many migratory birds coming to Son Tra in the spring such as the Japanese White-eye, Pin-tailed Parrotfinch, Siberian Accentor, Siberian Thrush, Orange-headed Thrush, Blue Rock Thrush, Japanese Thrush, Grey-backed Thrush, and Black-throated Thrush. This place is very attractive for a day trip in Da Nang. The presence of both resident (80 species) and migratory (30 species) birds, with 20 species having both resident and migratory populations, further highlights the dynamic bird ecosystem of Son Tra. Notably, Bach Ma has a high concentration of Galliformes species.
