Itinerary
5:00 - 6:00 AM: The tour guide and driver pick up guests at their hotel.
6:00 - 6:15 AM: The guide instructs guests on how to use binoculars and spotting scopes for smartphone photography.
6:15 - 8:00 AM: Walk from Point 1 to Point 2. The guide and langur tracker will search for and help guests observe groups of red-shanked douc langurs and other wildlife.
8:00 - 9:00 AM: Board the vehicle to 'Helicopter Airport,' the paragliding jump area, and Ban Co Peak at 600m above sea level. Enjoy stunning panoramic views of Da Nang City and the tropical rainforest while the guide shares the history of these landmarks.
9:00 - 9:45 AM: Return from Ban Co Peak to Vong Canh Hill for a light tea break prepared by the company. The guide will share insights about the Indochina Radar Station, the history and unique geography of the Son Tra Peninsula, and an endemic plant species found here.
9:45 - 10:00 AM: Travel from Vong Canh Hill to the base of Son Tra Mountain, concluding the morning tour.
10:00 - 11:00 AM: Drop guests off at their hotel
1:30 - 2:30 PM: The tour guide and driver pick up guests at their hotel.
2:30 - 3:30 PM: The guide instructs guests on how to use binoculars and spotting scopes at Viewpoint Peak. The guide will provide information about biodiversity of the mountain, the Indochina Radar, the history and unique geography of the Son Tra Peninsula, and an endemic plant species found here.
3:30 - 4:00 PM: Board the vehicle and head to the historic 'Helicopter Airport' site. From here, guests can take in a panoramic view of Da Nang City from above while learning about this significant landmark from the Vietnam War era.
4:00 - 5:30 PM: Walk from Point 05 to Point 08 and back (~4 km) along a steep trail. Along the way, the guide and langur tracker will search for and assist guests in spotting groups of red-shanked douc langurs and other wildlife.
5:30 - 6:00 PM: Guests board the vehicle to the paragliding station and Ban Co Peak (600m). Enjoy panoramic views of Da Nang City, the tropical rainforest, and a stunning sunset. Capture memorable photos, learn about the site's history, and relax with a light tea break (tea, coffee, fruit).
6:00 - 6:30 PM: Travel from Ban Co Peak to the base of Son Tra Mountain, concluding the afternoon tour.
6:30 - 7:30 PM: Drop guests off at their hotel
Additional information
Mostly easy walking along tracks, roads, and trails, but there will be a few inclined sections in the mountains.
