On June 22, 2025, more than 20 students and their parents joined the program “Voọc ơi, mình đi đâu thế” and had a special experience. They saw with their own eyes the first red wild raspberries of the season, growing in the Son Tra mountains. In the middle of the green forest, the small red fruits stood out and made all the children very excited.

The season of wild raspberries, also known as phúc bồn tử, usually starts in summer and lasts until autumn. During each trip to explore Sơn Trà, HiVOOC experts always introduce students to this plant. You can often see wild raspberry bushes along the mountain roads or at places like Vọng Cảnh Hill. These plants can even grow up high on tree branches to reach sunlight and grow strongly.
The “Voọc ơi, mình đi đâu thế” trip on June 22 happened right when the first raspberries of the season were turning bright red!

Under the bright sunlight shining through the trees, after the expert shared some knowledge, everyone in the group walked slowly and looked more carefully along the path into the forest. They searched the bushes around them. Then came joyful shouts whenever someone found the first raspberry!
The children looked at the fruit with great excitement. Some even asked to stop for a while to draw the raspberry — a way to keep the memory of this beautiful plant in their minds for longer. Now, exploring nature is not just about seeing with the eyes or listening to facts — it’s about using all the senses, with the excitement and innocence of young students.
Awakening children’s senses
For the people who organized the program, it was truly a joy to see the children connect with and enjoy nature through every step and every breath.
Not far away at all — right in the heart of Da Nang City — there is a nature reserve, a green lung that quietly brings invisible but priceless values to people.

Exploring and enjoying nature not only brings joy but also helps students grow in a complete and healthy way. Through activities like observing, looking closely, or drawing the bright red wild raspberries, children use all their senses — from touch to sight to emotion. This helps improve their careful observation, deep feeling, curiosity, and love for beauty.
More than that, nature becomes a great teacher. It teaches children to be patient, to pay attention to details, and to respect the simple things around them. When they touch the leaves or listen to the sounds of the forest, they are not only learning biology — they are learning how to live in harmony, to care for the environment, and to protect nature.
Exploring nature gives children the chance to step away from screens, leave the closed classroom, and enjoy the colorful and lively world outside. This is the foundation that helps build a clear and kind heart, positive emotions, and creativity — all of which are very important for a child’s development.
Let’s join “Voọc ơi, mình đi đâu thế” and follow the journey of the little ones as they discover the season’s first bright red wild raspberries!
