Pick-up Time

Flexible depending on guest preference.

Recommended departure times:

•       Morning Experience: 06:30 – 07:00
•       Afternoon Experience: 13:30 – 14:00

Pick-up is available from hotels in Da Nang city center.
Pick-up from Hoi An is available with approximately 1 additional hour of travel time.

Enter Son Tra Peninsula

After pick-up, the journey begins with a scenic drive toward Son Tra Nature Reserve.

During the drive, your guide will introduce the unique ecosystem of the peninsula, its biodiversity, and the conservation efforts protecting the wildlife that lives here.

 

Wildlife Tracking Experience

The main focus of the tour is the search for the Red-shanked Douc Langur, one of the rarest primates in Southeast Asia.

Together with the senior guide and experienced tracker, guests will explore several known habitat areas where langurs are often observed.

Depending on wildlife activity and guest interest, the team may adjust the route and spend more time in locations with higher chances of sightings.

Guests will also learn about:

•       Langur behavior and social structure
•       Their diet and movement patterns
•       The conservation challenges facing Son Tra Peninsula

 

 

Scenic Exploration of the Peninsula

Along the way, the tour may include stops at some of the peninsula’s scenic locations.

Possible highlights include:

•       Linh Ung Pagoda
•       Coastal viewpoints overlooking Da Nang city
•       Jungle roads and forest viewpoints

Because this is a private experience, stops can be adjusted based on guest interests, whether for photography, nature observation, or sightseeing.

Tea Break in Nature

During the journey, the group will pause for a tea break in a quiet natural setting.

This is an opportunity to relax, enjoy the forest atmosphere, and exchange stories with the guide about wildlife, conservation, and the unique ecosystem of Son Tra.

Flexible Exploration

The experience remains flexible throughout the tour.

Guests may choose to:

•       Spend more time observing wildlife
•       Stop for photography along the route
•       Take short nature walks in selected areas
•       End the tour earlier if preferred

If guests become tired during a short walk, the tracker can assist and help transport them back to the vehicle.

Drop-off

After the exploration, guests will be dropped off at their hotel.

Total experience time is approximately 5 hours (excluding extended travel time from Hoi An).
